Brief

We teamed up with Wikimedia UK to create a series of explainer films shining a light on their mission - creating a world where everyone has access to the sum of all human knowledge.

Each film explored one of Wikimedia’s key themes - Knowledge Equity, Information Literacy, and Climate & Environment. Our animation formed part of a wider campaign to champion open knowledge and inspire people to get involved and contribute.

Behind The Scenes

Wikimedia’s minimalist branding gave us the perfect starting point, and their massive image library acted as a treasure trove of visuals for our designers to explore.

We brought the scripts to life, making sure every photograph or drawing felt alive and each quote or statement was depicted clearly on screen. The key was to keep everything simple and clean!

The result was four sharp, informative films that move as much as they educate.
