Behind The Scenes

This was a refreshing brief - live action shoot, a healthy dose of frame by frame and lots of juicy watercolour paintings. It was a creative challenge that really pushed our studio forward.

From meticulous pre-shoot planning to hours of tracking and rotoscoping, our team were responsible for ensuring the animation sat seamlessly on the meeting room table. The animation itself was created using an in-house system which turned 3D characters into 2D stencils that we could project on top of the footage. Throw in a few flickers and boils and the illusion was complete!
